Invest in Midnight Chimes Productions and the Boston Independent film community.

Midnight Chimes Productions is leading Boston into the independent short film revolution on the the Internet. We continually make short films in Boston using Boston-area talent and use those shorts to promote the entire community. As we open doors, we hold them open for other local filmmakers to enter. We've made great strides but we cannot do it alone. We are looking for all types of investors, donors, and promotional opportunities to continue our succesful campaign. If you would like to see the community thrive, here are a few of the options available.

Why invest in short films? Unlike features, short films have a small gestation period and can be rushed to the market more quickly. Faster turn-around allows a filmmaker to attract a repeat audience and hold onto it by quickly filling the demand. The cost of producing quality short films is a fraction of that of a feature, which makes the investment less risky. The web is hungry for short comedies and we can fill that need effectively. As the web moves towards paying for exclusive content, we feel we are in a position to capitalize on that opportunity. We're looking for investors who want to be part of it and share in our position in the market.

Option 1, Co-Productions: We have accomplished several successful co-productions with local production companies. The results have been some quality funny shorts, some increased web traffic, and visibility for both organizations in the local industry and on the internet.

Option 2, Block Investment: Investment in a block of shorts. We just developed a cooking series and the pilot of a sitcom with individual investor money. Having their name lead off the clip will establish an amazing internet presence for them and, if successful, their investment will be recouped as well.

Option 3, One Short Investment: Our most successful short, Mask of the Ninja was executed with a small contribution. Seven million views later it's become the calling card for us and the investor. If you are a writer, director, producer, or actor who is getting unsatisfactory attention for your quality work, invest in something with us and we'll help put you over the top.
